Terms of Service

By booking lessons, performances, or workshops with Cody Sirk ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before booking.

1. Lesson Policies

Scheduling: Lessons are scheduled on a recurring weekly basis. Changes to your regular lesson slot must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule a lesson with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full lesson rate.
No-Shows: Students who do not attend a scheduled lesson without notice will be charged for that lesson.
Late Arrivals: Lessons begin at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend the lesson end time.

2. Payment Terms

Lesson packages are billed monthly at the beginning of each month. Payment is due before lessons begin.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of enrollment.
There are no long-term contracts. Lessons are month-to-month and may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.
Refunds are not issued for missed lessons that fall under the cancellation policy above.

3. Performance Booking Terms

A deposit may be required to confirm performance bookings. Deposit amounts will be communicated in the booking agreement.
Cancellations of confirmed performance bookings may result in forfeiture of the deposit, depending on the amount of notice given.
All performance details (duration, format, location, set list) must be finalized at least one week before the event date.
Travel fees may apply for events outside the Norman/Oklahoma City area. These will be included in the custom quote.

4. Student Conduct

Students and their parents/guardians are expected to treat instructors, other students, and any shared spaces with respect. We reserve the right to discontinue lessons with any student whose conduct is disruptive or disrespectful, without refund of prepaid fees.

5. Online Lessons

Online lessons require a stable internet connection and a device with a working camera and microphone. Technical issues on the student's end do not qualify for a reschedule or refund unless the instructor is notified before the lesson begins.

6. Photography & Media

We occasionally photograph or record student performances and events for use on our website and social media. If you prefer not to be included in any media, please notify us in writing before enrollment or an event.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cody Sirk is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from participation in lessons, workshops, or performances, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or lost opportunities. Students participate at their own risk.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
